ABOUT THE ARTIST

LightWorks Photography was started in 1996 by Eric Ausitn. Eric Studied at the East Coast School of Photography and PPA School of Photography. He also interned with a large commercial photography studio and then a portrait studio specializing in family beach portraits and boudoir photography. This helped him hone his skills for posing and lighting. Since opening the studio Eric has worked with many families and companies to help bring their vision to reality.

We now specialize in Family environmental and modeling portraits in such locations as sunset beach and park locations. Every session is setup to match the style and location that works best for your family. Before your session we will help you plan your clothing, groupings, and make sure we incorporate any special requests. Most sessions last about an hour and we work hard to make it a fun and relaxing event. We want to make memories that will hang on your families walls for generations.

What are your hours?: We are open 9-5 M-F and weekends by appointment.
Where are you located?: We are based in Venice, FL but provide services to Venice, Sarasota, North Port, Nokomis, Casey Key, and Manasota Beach.
Do you accept appointments?: Yes, All of our sessions are by appointment only including popup mini sessions. Please contact us to setup your appointment.
What payment options do you accept?: We accept Cash, Check and most major credit cards.
How long is the typical wait?: Sessions can usually booked as short as 3 days out and as much as six months out. If you are on a short time table contact us and we will do our best to help you. Proofing is all viewed online and standard turnaround is one week. Prints can take up to two weeks lab dependent.
Do you have a cancellation policy?: Yes, sessions must be cancelled prior to 48 hours from shoot time. If you need to cancel after 48 hours you can use the deposit to re-book your session within six months or you forfeit your deposit. Refunds will be given if the reason for cancellation is weather even within the 48 hour window.
Do you have any other policies?: Yes, Please note that we can not be held responsible for cancellations due to weather. Weather can be fast changing in Florida and while we do our best to work around the weather sometimes it will just not be possible. Also, Please note that all of our photo sessions are done in natural locations and as such there is a chance of injury and by contracting us to provide you with photo services you agree to hold LightWorks Digital Imaging and Photography and it's employees harmless of any injury you may sustain due to nature or the location agreed upon.
